All photos have titles in the white margins and Ken’s signature is printed in the image digitally. A light gray mat is also printed around the white area. The giclée is designed to fit standard frame sizes found everywhere.

consistent with this quality.

Q: What is a giclée?
A: Simply stated, it is the "Rolls Royce" of new printing technology. Pronounced "G-Clay", the image is reproduced from a digital file by slowly spraying archival inks (rated at 65-75 years) on fine paper or canvas.

Q: Does Ken ever photograph weddings or families on the beach?
A: Ken doesn’t accept commissions of any kind preferring to devote full time to nature photography. He does sell reproduction rights. Click on “PRICES” below.

Q: What kind of camera do you use?
A: Both Ken and Terry now use a Canon 10D digital camera for nature work and for shooting material for portraits on location.

Q: What are your gallery hours?
A: The artists travel a great deal in their work and so visits to the gallery are by appointment only. Also, they use the gallery as a studio and prefer to schedule appointments at the most mutually convenient times.

Q: Do you do framing?
A: We don’t do framing or matting preferring instead
to concentrate on what we do best; creating the finest picture for you at the lowest price. Shipping framed pieces adds greatly to costs. You do, however have the option with our photo system of simply inserting the print in a standard size frame - available everywhere.

Q: Where can I buy the photos?
A: Currently there are seven major outlets:

Q: How can I have my children’s portraits done and
how much does it cost?
A: Terry travels all over the country to the client’s home or they can come to her. She is also represented by Portraits South, a national portrait agency that has representatives across the United States. Contact them at www.portraitsouth.com to find out the agent nearest you. Contact the gallery for current prices.

Q: How long does the portrait take?
A: Terry schedules portraits in the order in which they were commissioned so it depends on how many are ahead of yours. Delivery time will be given at the time of the order.

Q: Can she work from my photography?
A: If she feels there is enough information in the your photo for her purposes, she can. Usually though, she prefers to get the information herself and meet the subject personally.

Doe Creek is pleased to announce an alliance with Sea Gallery who is publishing reasonably priced reproductions of our original oil paintings in large sizes on canvas. Our watercolors too are reproduced exactly like the originals in the new giclée process using the latest fade resistant inks (rated at 65-75 years) on fine acid free paper.
